The Quesabirria Taco
Most commonly known as “quesabirria,” a combination of the spanish word queso (cheese) and birria, a traditional Mexican stew. Here at La Frontera our Birria is made of Beef vs the Goat meat. These now famous tacos are basically a shredded beef taco with melted cheese topped with salsa and onions and cilantro. Made by grilling it on a flat top griddle. The best way to eat one is with a cup of our delicious consommé, or beef broth which is made from the process of cooking the Birria.
The Quesabirria Taco has made its way from Tijuana and became popular and has trended through social media over the two past years and has become our specialty here at La Frontera Mexican Restaurant as we have added our own twist to the Quesabirria, in addition we sell Family Packs of 12 as well.
If you love our Quesabirria’s your going to love our special Taco called the Que Rico Taco. Similar to the Quesabirria, but with cabbage and guacamole and a spicy kick to it that will keep you coming back for more.
